Code of Conduct

Foreword

The integrity of the company is an important foundation of our business relationships. This applies both to internal dealings and to external relationships with our business partners (customers, suppliers, service providers) as well as with other parties such as authorities, financial service providers or insurance companies.

These corporate principles of Deisenhammer HG are the basis for working in our company. They represent an ethical and moral obligation for all our employees and also define the standards we set for our actions and for ourselves. This also includes the expectations we have of our business partners.

Employees can contact their line manager or the management at any time if they have any questions or uncertainties. The Management department is the point of contact for external partners. It can be contacted at jonathan.bulling@hg-group.mx .

Gender-specific formulations refer equally to the female and male form.

COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW AND LEGISLATION
We comply with applicable laws and regulations in all countries in which we operate. This is a matter of course for us, and we expect the same from our business partners and customers.
FAIR COMPETITION

Transparent, fair and professional behavior on the market serves to safeguard our interests in the long term and helps Deisenhammer HG to achieve secure and sustainable competitiveness. For this reason, we do not participate in price fixing. Suppliers and service providers are treated honestly and fairly. Purchasing decisions are made exclusively on the basis of quality, deadlines and price.

We are committed to fair, free and open competition. We expressly reject the unlawful exchange of information, price fixing, market sharing or similar unauthorized and immoral practices of any kind. We do not tolerate violations of competition laws in any way.

Protection of company property and trade secrets

Material and intellectual company property must always be treated with care. These items may only be used to achieve the company’s objectives. Private use or misuse is not permitted. In addition, any form of material or intellectual company property must be protected against theft or unauthorized use. If external partners are involved, suitable confidentiality agreements must be concluded.

DATA PROTECTION IS OBSERVED AND INFORMATION SECURITY IS MAINTAINED

We are committed to protecting the data of our employees and business partners. Not just because it is a legal requirement, but because integrity is a matter of course for us. We treat information confidentially and protect it from unauthorized access. This applies to printed information as well as to any form of electronic information. We only collect, store or process personal data if this is necessary for specified, clear and legally authorized purposes.

PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Protecting the environment and the climate is very important to us. Our employees are required to treat all natural resources used in our company (e.g. energy, water, land) with care. Our employees are expected to act responsibly in the manufacture and distribution of our products and services.
DONATIONS AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Deisenhammer HG is an active member of society in the country in which it operates. It therefore assumes social responsibility and supports civil society activities that promote peaceful coexistence. This can take the form of advice, action or financial support. We do not provide support or donations in order to obtain economic benefits.

PROHIBITION OF BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION

Bribery and corruption are generally not permitted and are not tolerated by us. Our employees are prohibited from accepting or granting favors of any kind (cash, travel, gifts, etc.) that are linked to an improper advantage (awarding of contracts, project awards, etc.).

Our business partners are also required to avoid conflicts of interest that harbour a risk of corruption.

ACCEPTANCE OF GIFTS

Our employees do not demand or accept any personal benefits from customers or suppliers that influence or could influence their own behavior with regard to their work for the company.
If gifts are offered by third parties, they may only be accepted if they are common practice and can be recognized as a courtesy or favor (promotional gifts with the logo of the giving company, such as calendars or pens).
In the case of gifts with a value exceeding the usual amount, the management must be informed. If this is not possible, these gifts must always be refused.
Gifts on our part may also only be offered within the usual framework for the business relationship and to a materially appropriate extent. The recipient must not be able to associate any obligation with it that would influence his or her business decisions.

AVOIDANCE OF CONFLICTS OF INTEREST / PRIVATE ACTIVITIES

Private secondary employment of any kind must be known to the company and agreed with the respective line manager. The approval of the company is mandatory. Personal business relationships with our customers, partners or competitors are not permitted. Conflicts of interest between professional and private matters must be avoided. Private activities must not interfere with the interests of HG group.

COMPLIANCE WITH CONVENTIONS

We reject forced or child labour as well as any form of ethically or morally reprehensible work. We do not do business with companies that do not adhere to these conventions.

HUMAN RIGHTS ARE RESPECTED
We respect human rights in accordance with the UN Human Rights Charter. We respect and protect the dignity of our employees and customers.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY IS OBSERVED

The safety of our employees and customers is important to us. We comply with all forms of occupational safety requirements and protect the health of our employees and customers as best we can. In addition to personal protective equipment and the necessary work and operating resources, this also includes regular training and instruction.

EMPLOYEE RIGHTS

The rights of employees are safeguarded on the basis of the respective national regulations. This includes their rights to form interest groups. Wage cuts as disciplinary measures are not permitted.

REGULATED WORKING HOURS AND FAIR REMUNERATION
Working hours are regulated transparently and fairly in our company regulations and on the basis of the applicable laws and regulations. Our remuneration follows the principle that performance should always be rewarded.
APPEARANCE AND COMMUNICATION IN PUBLIC / "COMPANY AMBASSADORS"

Every employee is also an ambassador or representative of the company. Every employee should always be aware of this. Accordingly, behavior and appearance as an employee of HG group should always be correct and polite. The image and reputation of the company must always be upheld. Behavior that damages our reputation will not be tolerated.

EQUAL TREATMENT AND NON-DISCRIMINATION

At Deisenhammer HG, we see ourselves as one big family. We treat every employee equally, regardless of gender, origin, skin color, religion, age, personal preferences or other criteria.

RACISM IS NOT TOLERATED

Deisenhammer HG stands for diversity, openness and cooperation between people. We are openly committed to combating racism and discrimination. Racism and discrimination in any form will not be tolerated. This also applies to harassment in any conceivable form.

TEAM SPIRIT

We pull together – manufacturing expertise plays an important role at Deisenhammer HG, but a healthy corporate culture is just as important. This means that in addition to performance-related wages and salaries, further education and training, we promote a sense of togetherness with joint activities and team-building measures. Team spirit is an important part of the company.

COMMUNICATION
We communicate openly and impartially with each other and with our external partners. In doing so, we protect the interests of the company and our business partners.
ERROR CULTURE
We address mistakes openly. They are opportunities to improve our actions and our processes.

Scope of application

These corporate principles apply to every person in the company. We expect every employee, from management to temporary staff, to behave in accordance with the guidelines and principles of this Code. Supervisors and managers have a special role model function here. The guidelines and information listed here are made available to every employee and communicated regularly. Every employee is encouraged to report any violations of these guidelines. The report can be submitted – also anonymously – to jonathan.bulling@hg-group.mx . In order to promote open and trusting communication, it is expressly stated that employees who report violations of laws, the Code of Conduct or other internal guidelines and regulations will not suffer any negative consequences of any kind. This also applies to other persons who contribute important information to the investigation of such misconduct.
